癒乃 渓（いやしの けい）B410UL/4PC 私は出かけることが大好きで、時間やお金に余裕があったらすぐに出かけたいなといつも思ってたりします。実際は時間もお金も無く、夢みたいなのを想像していつも悶々としてたりします(笑) 　それでもたまには出かけることもあるので、その時にいつも『釣りがしたいなぁ』と思うのです。 なぜだか分かりませんが、遠くへ行けば行くほどその思いも強くなるように思います。 距離に比例して夢って膨らむものなんでしょうかね(笑) 　そんな時にパックロッドがあったら良いなとずーと思ってたんです。 　正確に言うと、ＷＥＥＤＭＡＳＴＥＲを立ち上げた2017年には、次はパックロッドを作りたいなとこの時すでに思っていました。 　どこにでも持って行けるし、ちょっとの空き時間でも釣りが出来るし、気ままな正確の自分にとっては、パックロッドはとても良い竿だなと思ってたんです。 　でも予算や生産能力等の関係でその時は見送りにするしかなかったのです。 　あの時のことを思い返すと、まだパックロッドもそんなに出回ってなくて、出回りかけた物は活発に取り引きされており、パックロッドの得意なメーカーはそのタイミングでガンガンと売っていたのを横目で見ながらちょっと悔しい思いをしておりました。 　そしてもっと力を付けないといけないなと自分に言い聞かせながら、その時の目の前にあった仕事を一生懸命にこなしていました。 　そんな中でも開発を諦めたわけでは無く、他のこともしながら、こそこそと使い研究開発をすすめておりました。 　国産で１ピースのロッドを作ってもらい、それをぶった切り、プロト１を作りました。最初は４ピースで、コミ部も一個一個手作業で調整しながら削り、印籠継ぎにして作りました。 　次は5.2ｆｔを4ピースで作り、次は4.11ｆｔを4ピースで作り、次は4.8ｆｔを3ピースで作りと、いろいろと試行錯誤し、最後はこの4.10ｆｔの４ピースに落着きました。 　とにかくコミ部の量産が大変だったので、この途中に並み継ぎの５ピースのモデルもプロトで作りましたが、これはこれでかなり良かったのですが、パワー調整に手間取るのと、値段が相当な額に行きそうだと言うことで、このプロトも諦めました。 　さあどうしようかな！？となったのですが、一度冷静になり、今できることに力を注ごうという考えにいたりました。 　そして、今は市場に逆らわずに合わせて行くことが得策ではないかと考えました。 　パックロッド市場を見るとすでに十分な量の種類のパックロッドが出ており、すでに飽和状態にあるように思いました。 　私が簡単に入っていけるような隙も無いように思えました。 　でも、そんな中でもパックロッド市場に参入していけるような物を何とか作れ無いものかと考えました。 　そこでまず、いくら良いものであっても、高いものでは買ってもらうどころか、手に取ってもらうことすら難しいのでは無いかと思いましたので、値段は安くしないといけないと思いましたが、ここで自分の中に大きな問題が出ました、私のこだわりである純国産品で釣竿を作りたいと言う発想でこのパックロッド作るとなると、販売コストが上がるだけで無く、製造コストがグンと上がってしまい、販売にたどり着くどころか、ブランクを作るだけでも今の自分には難しくなってしまうという計算になりました。 　良いものを作りたい、良いものを届けたいという思いは、変わらずにあるのですが、まずはこの感覚を一回捨て、できるだけ価格を抑えたものを作って、まずはお客様に届けることが最重要では無いかと考えました。 　そんなこんなを考え、ある程度まとまって来たところで、身近な琵琶湖での変化が徐々に起こり、自分の釣りスタイルにも変化が起き、今では琵琶湖はバイクで釣りに行くことも多くなって来ました。 　最初は遠征や旅用にあったら良いと思っていたこのパックロッドが、ここに来て普段でもよく使う竿にもなって来て驚きました。 　さらには新しい釣りを始めようと思い、山に入り気持ちの良い木漏れ日の中で、渓流トラウトなどに行くようになりました。 　あの時にちょっとあったら便利だと思っていたくらいなのですが、今はもうそこそこのメインロッドになっていたりもします。 　自分の中でこんなに活躍してるんだから、ひょっとしたら同じような感覚の人もいるかもしれないと思いました。 　そこでくすぶっていた火が一気に燃え上がり、パックロッド製作に力が入っていきます。 価格を抑えることを意識し安いブランクを探し組んでみます。 　琵琶湖でバスやブルーギルを釣り、管釣りでニジマスを釣り、渓流でアマゴなどを釣り良い感じに仕上がりました。 　そして名前をどうしようかと考えました。今回の竿には和名のイメージでいきたいと思いました。いろいろ苦労をし、考え、生み出たものだから、家族のような存在でいて欲しいと思ったからです。男っぽいものが良いのか、はたまた女の子っぽいものが良いのか、いろいろと悩みましたが、あの木漏れ日の中で釣りをした時の気持ち良さが一生忘れられないほどの気持ち良さであったので、初期モデルとなるこの竿には『渓』と名付けました。 癒乃渓(いやしのけい)です。私の架空の苗字が「癒乃」でこの子が「渓」です(笑) 　ちょうど男の子でも女の子でも、どっちでも名付けれるような名前です(笑) 　渓流に行って癒されたのも、また本当の事実でございます。 　この渓の良さや特徴を今からお伝えしたいと思います。 　まずは圧倒的な携行性です。仕舞寸法でいうと約50ｃｍ×4ｃｍ×4ｃｍ程度のサイズになるので、飛行機の機内持ち込みがＯＫです。（３辺の和が115ｃｍ以内で、一辺のＭＡＸが55ｃｍまで） 　簡易の竿袋は付いてますが、スーツケースやしっかりしたカバンに入れてもらえば、安心して遠征などにも行けます。こそっと忍ばせておけば出張先にでも持って行けます(笑) 　次は見た目です。この白黒モノトーンのカモフラにはこだわりました。旅に行くのに少しはお洒落をしていきたいと言う感じでこの竿は作ったので、少し目立って欲しかったりもするのですが、そうは言っても山の中の自然にも溶け込んで欲しいという思いもありました。最初は通常のカモフラージュカラーを作ったのですが、これが自然に溶け込み過ぎててちょっとイメージじゃなかったんです。もうちょっと明るくそして目立つ感じにしたいと思い、この白黒モノトーンのカモフラージュカラーにしました。川岸に置いても、岩に立てかけても思い通りの良い感じです。 　次は自慢のガイドです。トップガイドにはT2カラーのトルザイトを採用しました。軽くて抜けが良いとなると、トルザイト一択になります。そして中間ガイドはC-IMを採用しました。これを採用した理由は、ＰＥラインを使用したいのでガイド絡みが少ないと言うことと、軽量であり感度アップが狙えるということで採用しました。C-IMにはカーボン素材が練りこまれており、強度と感度が上がります。 　次はグリップ形状です。これもいろいろ試しました。リールシートは富士工業のスケルトンを使いました、とにかく小さくコンパクトにしたかったので、そうなるとこれが最強になります。グリップの長さも10ｃｍから始め、12.5ｃｍになり、最終13ｃｍに落ち着きました。これで問題無いかと思います。形状は、薄く極端にシェイプしたものから始まりましたが見た目もよく持ちやすかったのですが、一日使うと手首が疲れると言う症状が出たので却下となり、次は丸く大き目の楕円のものにしました、使用上は問題なかったのですが、見た目があんまりだったので最終はこの形に落着きました。使い心地も見た目も最高です。 　最後はターゲットについてです。対象のサイズは50～100ｇくらいの魚をメインターゲットとしました。分かりやすく言うと10～20ｃｍくらいの小さな魚になります。名前の通り、渓流を強く意識しました。チャンスの少ない渓流釣りで、より多くの魚をゲットすることを考えると、竿を強くすることはマイナスでしか無かったのです。UＬパワーのこの渓と、別のＭＬパワーのプロトを比べると、釣果の差は3～4倍くらい違ったのです。流れのある中での竿のクッション性能は、長く竿作りをしてきた私も驚くくらいの差になりました。魚のコンディションや状況に合わせることで、より多くの魚をゲット出来ると確信したのでこのUＬパワーに落着きました。ちなみにプロトでは54ｃｍのブリブリのバスも釣ってはいます。当YouTubeの過去動画にあります。ベイトタックルでPE仕様なので、上手くドラグを使いこなせば、運は必要になりますがデカイ魚も獲れるとも思ってはいます。 　とは言えデカイ魚を狙って作った竿ではありません、「いつでもどんな時でも、釣りをしていたい」というところがコンセプトでありますので、デカイ魚を狙っていくというよりかは、こんな場所でも魚はいるのかなとか思いながら、まずは竿を出して大きくなくてもいいからまず魚を釣り、そしてどんどんと探っていけるようなイメージでこの竿は作りました。 変化の大きい渓流でもしっかりとテスト出来たので、良いテストが出来たと思っております。 　テストのことを深堀すると、どこまで小さな魚が狙えるのかと思い、その限界テストもしました。４ｃｍか５ｃｍほどのタナゴを見事にアタリを取って仕留めたり、手のかじかむ中でも極小サイズのワカサギのアタリも取ってアワセることも出来ました。 　そんなテストを繰り返しながら振り返ってみると、「ベイトで、ＰＥ、極小サイズまで狙える竿」はひょっとしたら最強なのかも知れないのではと思いました。理由は、ベイトですとキャスト数が増えてこれでヒット確率が上がりますし、ＰＥで強度が強いのでデカイ魚まで対応出来ますし、小さいサイズはお手の物だと考えると、釣り幅がものすごくて一本でこなす分野ではひょっとしたら最強なのかもと思ったからです。 　こんな感じで最強かと思える癒乃渓は、バス釣りのダウンショットから、練り餌のタナゴ釣り、餌釣りのワカサギにモロコ、渓流ルアーのニジマス＆アマゴ、管釣りのマス類全般、琵琶湖水系のハスやニゴイと言ったところがテストもしたしメインターゲットになった魚たちです。 　おすすめの最後は値段です。今回は泣く泣く国産ブランクを諦めたので、値段設定が非常にお安く出来たと思っております。安さでいけば今回のこの癒乃渓はおすすめです。でもいつかは国産ブランクでさらにランクアップした癒乃渓も作ってみたいという思いもありますが、とりあえず今回の癒乃渓はコスパが良くておすすめです。 　最後の最後に私の好きな言葉の一つ『義を見てせざるは勇無きなり』をこの竿に入れておきました。困っている人がいたら見て見ぬふりをするのでは無く、手を差し伸べることの出来る人こそが勇気を持った人であると言う意味です。釣りをしているといろいろなことがありますし、そんなことに出くわします、でもそういった時にでもこの言葉のように行動が出来れば素敵だなといつも思っております。簡単なことじゃないけど意識を持っておけば、少しは近づけるとも思っております。なのでメッセージとさせて頂きました。 最後に、人生は一度です、素敵で最高の釣りをしっかりと楽しみましょう。それではよろしくお願い申し上げます。 ※各ピースのコミ部へは、フェルールワックスをしっかりと塗ってご使用ください 　キシミ音、すっぽ抜け、固着などを防止してくれます 癒乃 渓（いやしの けい）　B410UL/4PC　27000円税別 Length / 4.10ft Grip Length / 13.0cm Power / Ultra Light Range Distance / 20m Lure Weight / 1/16～3/16oz Line / #0.4G～#0.6G(PE) Weight / 64g

岩嵜 IWASAKI – 「生まれ変わる素材、生まれ変わる価値。」 IWASAKI ブランドは、「再生」をテーマに掲げ、素材に新たな命を吹き込むことで新しい価値を生み出すことを目指しています。 その第一弾として誕生したのが、流木から生まれた可愛らしいルアー 「雫（シズク）」 です。 私はこれまで、使われなくなった素材を蘇らせることに情熱を注いできました。代表作であるバスロッド 「WEEDMASTER」 をはじめ、日々の仕事ではロッドの修理・カスタム、リールのオーバーホールなど、「復活」と「再生」をテーマに活動しています。 そして今回、新たな挑戦として、琵琶湖の水辺清掃中に目にする流木を再生し、ルアーとして生まれ変わらせました。 この 流木ルアー「雫」 を通じて、琵琶湖の魅力を世界に発信し、日本の皆さんには釣りの楽しさや夢を届けられたらと思っています。 どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。 岩嵜雫（イワサキシズク） – キーホルダーパッケージモデル 釣りされない方にも可愛いがって頂きたいという思いで雫をキーホルダーにしました 多くの方々にご使用頂けると思います • ルアー本体：3.5cm • フック式キーホルダー IWASAKI – “Reborn Materials, Reborn Value.” The IWASAKI brand is built on the theme of “rebirth”, breathing new life into materials and creating new value. The first product in this collection is the charming driftwood lure, “Shizuku” (meaning “droplet” in Japanese). I have always been passionate about reviving and repurposing materials. My notable works include the bass rod “WEEDMASTER”, and my daily work revolves around rod repair, customization, and reel overhauls—all centered on the themes of revival and restoration. For this new challenge, I have transformed driftwood, which I often come across while participating in shoreline cleanups at Lake Biwa, into beautiful handcrafted lures. Through the driftwood lure “Shizuku”, I hope to share the beauty of Lake Biwa with the world and bring the joy and excitement of fishing to people across Japan. To ensure that even those who don’t fish can enjoy Shizuku, I have turned it into a keychain. I hope many people will find joy in using it as a charming everyday accessory.
