IWASAKI ブランドは、「再生」をテーマに掲げ、素材に新たな命を吹き込むことで新しい価値を生み出すことを目指しています。

その第一弾として誕生したのが、流木から生まれた可愛らしいルアー「雫（シズク）」です。

私はこれまで、使われなくなった素材を蘇らせることに情熱を注いできました。代表作であるバスロッド「WEEDMASTER」をはじめ、日々の仕事ではロッドの修理・カスタム、リールのオーバーホールなど、「復活」と「再生」をテーマに活動しています。

そして今回、新たな挑戦として、琵琶湖の水辺清掃中に目にする流木を再生し、ルアーとして生まれ変わらせました。
この流木ルアー「雫」を通じて、琵琶湖の魅力を世界に発信し、日本の皆さんには釣りの楽しさや夢を届けられたらと思っています。

この「雫」は、琵琶湖の流木を一つひとつ削り出して生まれた一点物でございます。
自然が刻んだ木目、色合い、節の表情は二つとして同じものはなく、
それぞれが湖の時間を纏った、世界にひとつだけの姿をしております。

写真とまったく同じ表情のものはお届けできませんが、
それこそが「雫」が“工業製品ではない証”であり、
あなただけの一滴との出会いでございます。

IWASAKI – “Reborn Materials, Reborn Value.”

The IWASAKI brand is founded on the theme of “rebirth”, breathing new life into materials to create new value.

Our first creation is the driftwood lure “Shizuku” (雫)—a charming fishing lure born from reclaimed driftwood.

I have long been passionate about reviving unused materials. My representative work, the bass rod “WEEDMASTER,” is a testament to this dedication. In my daily work, I focus on rod repairs, customizations, and reel overhauls—activities centered around restoration and renewal.

For my latest challenge, I have transformed driftwood collected during shoreline cleanups at Lake Biwa into handcrafted lures. Through the driftwood lure “Shizuku,” I hope to share the beauty of Lake Biwa with the world while inspiring anglers across Japan with the joy and excitement of fishing.

This “SHIZUKU” is a one-of-a-kind piece, carefully carved from driftwood collected from Lake Biwa.
Each grain, color, and natural marking is shaped by time, and no two are ever the same.
Every piece carries the quiet history of the lake, making it truly unique in the world.

Please note that the exact appearance may differ from the photographs.
This individuality is the very proof that SHIZUKU is not an industrial product,
but a personal encounter with a single drop made just for you.
