IWASAKI ブランドは、「再生」をテーマに掲げ、素材に新たな命を吹き込むことで新しい価値を生み出すことを目指しています。

その第一弾として誕生したのが、流木から生まれた可愛らしいルアー 「雫（シズク）」 です。

私はこれまで、使われなくなった素材を蘇らせることに情熱を注いできました。代表作であるバスロッド 「WEEDMASTER」 をはじめ、日々の仕事ではロッドの修理・カスタム、リールのオーバーホールなど、「復活」と「再生」をテーマに活動しています。

そして今回、新たな挑戦として、琵琶湖の水辺清掃中に目にする流木を再生し、ルアーとして生まれ変わらせました。
この 流木ルアー「雫」 を通じて、琵琶湖の魅力を世界に発信し、日本の皆さんには釣りの楽しさや夢を届けられたらと思っています。

IWASAKI – “Reborn Materials, Reborn Value.”

The IWASAKI brand is built on the theme of “rebirth”, breathing new life into materials and creating new value.

The first product in this collection is the charming driftwood lure, “Shizuku” (meaning “droplet” in Japanese).

I have always been passionate about reviving and repurposing materials. My notable works include the bass rod “WEEDMASTER”, and my daily work revolves around rod repair, customization, and reel overhauls—all centered on the themes of revival and restoration.

For this new challenge, I have transformed driftwood, which I often come across while participating in shoreline cleanups at Lake Biwa, into beautiful handcrafted lures.

Through the driftwood lure “Shizuku”, I hope to share the beauty of Lake Biwa with the world and bring the joy and excitement of fishing to people across Japan.

To make fishing feel even closer to your heart, I have turned this lure into a necklace—a way to keep your passion with you at all times.
